The game’s campaigns trace events from the history of five civilizations: the Scots, Franks, Mongols, Saracens and Teutons. In this context, the player evolves a civilization from the end of Late Antiquity to the beginning of the Renaissance. The game takes place in Europe, the Middle East and East Asia and is part of the historical fabric of the Middle Ages.
Food is obtained by hunting animals, gathering berries, harvesting livestock, farming, and shore fishing and fishing from boats. The game offers four types of resources: food, wood, gold, and stone.
